dids.lol serves static websites from AT Protocol records. These terms describe what the service does, what you are responsible for, and what we may do about it when something goes wrong.

What the service is

You publish a record to a repository you control. dids.lol reads it, keeps a copy of the files it names, and serves them at a domain you have proved you control. We are a host for those bytes. We are not the author of your site, the registrar of your domain, or the operator of the server your record lives on.

What you are responsible for

• The content you publish, including anything a tile you bind brings with it.
• Having the right to publish it.
• Controlling the domain you register, and the DNS records that point it here.
• Keeping your AT Protocol identity secure. Whoever holds it can publish as you.

What you may not do

No illegal content. No malware, phishing pages, or credential harvesting. No impersonation of a person or organisation you are not. No content that sexually exploits children. No use of the service to attack it, to attack other people’s systems, or to evade a block we have already applied.

Automated use of the control plane is fine and expected — it is an open API — provided it stays inside the published rate limits and quotas.

What we may do

We may stop serving a domain or an identity that violates these terms, without notice where the content is clearly illegal or actively harmful. We may release a domain registration that was never verified, or whose DNS no longer points here. We may impose limits on how many domains, how many tiles, and how many bytes an identity may publish, and we may change those limits.

Removing content from dids.lol does not remove it from the repository it lives in. Your record stays yours, on your own server, and you may publish it elsewhere.

No warranty

The service is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be available, that your site will always be reachable, or that your data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — your repository is the authoritative record, and that is by design.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by deleting your record and releasing your domain. We can stop serving you under the terms above. Neither of us owes the other notice.

Changes

These terms may change. Material changes will be announced on the status page before they take effect.
